ABOUT

Posmrtné zkušenosti (the After Death Experience) - Aither
"In the mythology Aither is god of hermetic sciences, it is also the fifth element of which this world is formed."

Worldmusic, it is a "category" in which Posmrtné zkušenosti (the After Death Experience) feel the best. The group now releases a new album Aither. Dance rhythms and nature instruments as Pan’s flute, didgeridoo meet with samples, classical rhythmics “bass-guitar- percussion”, traps and violin. Melodies play an important role – polyphonic male and female vocals. The guitars in the band, in a non trend manner, do not play such a big part as it is usual in Bohemia. Their place is usually taken over by ethereal keyboard, piano and the already mentioned flutes, violins and native instrument didgeridoo. On the record you may feel the influence of dance music, new-age, jazz, reggae, “thoughtful” pop music and also folk and so called "serious" music.
Posmrtné zkušenosti (the After Death Experience) have been playing already over 10 years and already released two albums, IGOU (2004, author published) and Babylon (1997, Monitor/EMI). Some personal changes took place in the group and so it is interesting to find out how much the sound of the group changed. "The female and male polyphony remains. The melodiousness remains too”, says the leader of the group Miloslav Kočí. “In addition to that there are samples, dance loops and also much more “natural” meditation passages. The tone of keyboard is even more accentuated; much more often you may hear piano, traps and native instruments. I have a feeling that this album, for example in comparison with our first album Babylon, is more a story telling album, but at the same time you may also find pieces on Aither that can be played on radio.”
Release of the CD is a part of the 1st price in the competition Česká spořitelna Colours Talents that is organized by Indies Records and the festival Colours of Ostrava with the support of Česká spořitelna.
