ABOUT
The electronic folk band, Listolet, gathered around Tomáše Háček, is coming back after a six-year break with a new album, following up their single, Kocour spí, released end of the last year. The album, about stories, travelling and home, contains twelve tracks wandering between folk-rock and alternative. The band again uses its wide instrumental arsenal, broken beats and autumn colours.
The recording, called Pětiminutový tulák (i.e. Five-minute Wanderer), contains 12 tracks written by Tomáš Háček and Kuba Navrátil, featuring their stories. “We live in stories, we die of stories, but we can’t exist without stories,” says the frontman of Listolet, director and composer, Tomáš Háček. Listolet is an electronic folk band from the Western Carpathians, which has been around the Czechoslovak alternative and folk rock space for the past eight years. During that time, Listolet released two albums, Debut Listolet (2012) and Malý kluk (2013). With their song, Lullaby, they got on MTV and out of Brno.
