ABOUT
The album is being released, which will please all the fans of the poetics of Michal Ambrož and also the rock song-making in the best meaning of the word. The band Divoký srdce traditionally after the three-years interval produced (after records V moci noci and Kajuvej) at Indies Records the third album called POZDNÍ SBĚR (Late Gathering). Today not by far the new group around Michal Ambrož – also the title of the new album evokes the maturity and guessed quality – it comes with the collection of colorful and varied songs, in which the singing becomes apparent not only in rock position.
Divoký Srdce brings again its unmistakable style of productive melodies, which are based on strong refrains and interesting lyrics. We can find here the echoes of Irish folk songs, straight rock, influence of the Clash and also the psychedelic haze. Still the album makes the balanced and compact impression. And as the delicious cuveé POZDNÍ SBĚR combines in itself the singing of the rock bard, natural guitar sound and the careless elegance. Mantra of nearly all pieces is the hypnotism and Ambrož’s tendency to native Americans, natural substances but also to American country music.
The newcomer, which was released on 16 September was arising gradually during this year’s winter and spring in the studio Mlejn in Okrouhlice under the producer’s supervision of the experienced guitar player Pavel Skála (Etc…, Eben brothers, Marsyas…). Besides nine brand new songs you can find here also two coverversions:
Kdybych já byl kovářem( If I Were A Carpenter) and Nebeští jezdci ( Ghost Riders In The Sky).
