From ska, punk to folk, Bombarďák will always get the kids dancing. After the fourth album of the band Bombarďák, which was called Čtvrtek (i.e. Thursday) and was green, Black Friday came logically. So it probably won't surprise anyone that the sixth recording is called Luděk!
The album begins with the song Opačná (i.e. The Opposite One) because "Everything is the opposite of what it seems, and nothing is the opposite of what it seems." For many years Bombarďák has been a quartet consisting of Michal Dalecký, Jirka Jelínek, Filip Nebřenský and Matěj Pospíšil. The surfers of musical styles have once again prepared twenty-two songs that will put a smile on your face and have a typical bombastic sound.
The Bombarďáci guys locked themselves in the studio with the sound master Adam Pakosta for a week. And according to the reports from the band: "The studio was small, so when Michal wanted to put down the box from just eaten salami pizza, he had to put it under the feet of Filip, who was just recording a song about SKIS (orig. LYŽE). And that's why there are such wild bass descents. (We take the opportunity this way to thank the Labužník pizzeria.) But that was nothing in comparison to the fact that Matěj wanted two pianos in the song PIANOS (orig. PIÁNA). The boys were moving them for two days before they realized that only white keys could fit in the studio, which is quite symbolic because CD Luděk has a white cover. (We thank the Paflov factory for the loan of the pianos.) The song MAJDA was sung by the band's regular guest Johana Vavřínová, and the name Magdaléna enchanted her so much that she is going to name her sixth child that way (even if it was a boy). Jiří wore shorts all week in order to empathize with the character of HURVÍNEK (a famous Czech puppet character) and be able to sing a song with this name. It didn't help, so Denisa Kischnerová had to import the original of this puppet from the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theater. (You will really hear Hurvínek in the third song from the end, and we express our gratitude to them in this way.) Michal sang the song FLASH on the run! While Filip the song SAMOTÁŘ (i.e. The Loner) locked in the toilet! Matěj sang the song DRSŇÁK (i.e. The Badass) with a rasp in his shoe! Drummer Michal let himself be covered in 73 kilograms of snow in order to properly drum the song SNÍH (i.e. Snow). (Thank you to the Vrchlabí delivery service.) The new voice of the album is Adéla Polka, who sings the song IN, and her character in this song is puffy, which in reality meant that two porters had to carry her to the studio (our thanks go to the Namaste company.)"
If you have read this far, believe that the sixth album of the band Bombarďák will be playful, joyful, happy and cheerful, and that's exactly how the others who recorded it for you will be when you listen to it. Nice days!
