Privacy policy

If you are our customer, news subscriber, or visitor to the site, you are giving us your personal information. We are responsible for their protection and safety. Please be aware of the protection of personal data, policies and rights you have in connection with the GDPR (Privacy Policy).

1. Who is the administrator?

The Personal Information Manager at www.indiesrecords.cz is  Indies Records s.r.o., ID 17591864, with its registered office at Cejl 825/20, Zábrdovice, 602 00 Brno. 

We process your personal data as an administrator, that is, determine how the personal data will be processed and for what purpose, for how long and how many additional processors will assist us in processing.

We declare that, as the administrator of your personal data, we comply with all legal obligations required by applicable law, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR, and that:

3. Scope of personal data and processing purposes

We process personal information you entrust to us for the following reasons (to fulfill these purposes):

Providing services, fulfillment of contract Your personal data in the scope of: e-mail, name, surname, home address, in the case of purchase as a business or firm also ID and VAT number, we need the phone to fulfill the contract (eg delivery of goods, sending web access, etc.).

Your personal data in the range: The IP address and browser used are needed to perform the contract (when downloading digital music) and / or are necessary to operate the site (the web server logs are regularly deleted)

Your personal data in the range: name, e-mail addresses, telephone number, billing address in the case of payment by card are required by a legitimate interest in processing the transaction. Based on the PSD2 TRA request, the data is transferred to the issuer of the payment card for reasons of verification of the cardholder

Accounting
If you are a customer, we need your personal data (billing information) to comply with the statutory obligation to issue and record tax documents.

Marketing - Newsletters
Your personal information (e-mail and, if applicable, the name), what you click on in the e-mail and when you open it most often are used for direct marketing - sending business messages. If you are our customer, we do so because we reasonably suppose it is your interest to be updated for 5 years from the last order.

If you are not our customer, we will send you newsletters only after your approval, for a period of 5 years. You will give us the permission with so-called Double opt-in confirmation. This acknowledgment is a clear expression of your consent to the processing of your personal information. 

In both cases, you can revoke your consent by using a sign-in link in each email we send.

Advanced marketing based on consent
We may only send you inspiring third-party offers or use the remarketing and ad targeting email address on Facebook only for your consent based on your consent, for a period of 5 years from your consent. This can, of course, be withdrawn at any time through our contact information.

We retain your personal information for the duration of the limitation period, unless the law provides for a longer period for its retention or we have not stated otherwise in specific cases.

 

4. Cookies

While browsing our web sites, we record your IP address, how long you stay on the page and from which site you come from. We view the use of cookies to measure site traffic and customize your website views as our legitimate interest because we believe we can offer you even better services. In many cases, without cookies, the site would not work properly either.

Ads targeting cookies will only be processed based on your consent.

Our website can also be browsed in a mode that does not allow for the collection of personal data. You can disable the use of cookies on your computer.

5. Security and Privacy

We protect personal data to the fullest extent possible using modern technologies that we regularly update.

Only your delivery carrier has access to your personal data if it is in the situation of shipment to you.

In order to provide specific processing operations that we can not provide ourselves, we use the services and applications of processors who can protect the data even better than we do and specialize in the processing.

It is possible that in the future we will decide to use other applications or processors to facilitate and improve the processing. However, we promise you that in such a case when choosing, we will put at least the same demands on the processor for security and quality of processing as we are on ourselves.

We process data exclusively in the European Union.

8. Your rights in relation to the protection of personal data

You have a number of rights in relation to the protection of personal data. If you wish to use any of these rights, please contact us via email: indies@indiesrecords.cz.

You have the  right to information that is already covered by this information page with the privacy policy.

Thanks to  the right of access  us anytime to call and I'll have satisfied within 30 calendar days, what your personal data processing, and why.

If anything changes or you find your personal information outdated or incomplete, you have the  right to add and change your  personal information.

You have the right to limit the processing  if you believe we process your inaccurate data, you believe that I am processing illegally, but you do not want to delete all the data or if you have objected to the processing.

You may limit the extent of your personal data or purposes of processing, for example: By disengaging from the newsletter, you limit the purpose of processing to send business communications.

Right of portability
If you would like to take your personal information and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed as you would with the right of access - except that we will send you the information in machine-readable form. Here we need a maximum of 30 calendar days.

The right to be forgotten (to be forgotten)  Your next right is the right to erase (be forgotten). We do not want to forget about you, but if you wish, you have the right. In this case, we will delete all your personal information from our system and from the system of all partial processors and backups. We need 14 calendar days to secure the right to cancel.

In some cases, we are bound by a statutory obligation and, for example, we must record the tax documents issued after the statutory time. In this case, we will delete all such personal data that is not bound by any other law. We will notify you by e-mail about the completion of the deletion.

Complaint at the Personal Data Protection Office
If you feel that we do not comply with the law with your data, you have the right to appeal at any time to the Office for Personal Data Protection. We will be glad if you first tell us about this suspicion, so we can do something about it and correct any mistakes.

Unsubscribe from newsletters and business communications
Emails with products, events, and services are sent to you if you are our customer based on your legitimate interest.

If you are not a customer yet, we only send them to you with your approval. In both cases, you can end subscribing to our emails by pressing the logout link in each email we send or by contacting us.
